Education
Mr. Theisen
received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from University of
Detroit Mercy and pursued his legal education at the
Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University,
receiving his JD in 1998. Mr Theisen received the book awards in Criminal Law and Conflicts of Laws while at DCL. He has frequently lectured and given seminars on workers' compensation to employers, insurance claims personnel, and self-insured groups.
Professional Experience
Prior
to joining Conklin Benham's
Traverse City staff, Mr. Theisen worked as a law clerk
for a firm specializing in the area of insurance defense
law, and after he received his JD, began work as an
attorney for the firm. Mr. Theisen represents a variety
of clients in matters of workers'
compensation defense.

Mr.
Theisen is a member of the American Bar Association and
the Workers'
Compensation and Negligence Sections of the State Bar of
Michigan. He was recently appointed a member of the Upper Michigan Legal Institute.
