Education
After
receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State
University, Mr. Faulkner attended Thomas M. Cooley Law
School and received his JD in 1976.
Professional Experience
Mr.
Faulkner has worked at the Legislative Service Bureau in
Lansing and assisted with drafting all of the amendments
to the Workers'
Compensation Act from 1980 to 1986. Appointed by
Governor Blanchard, he served as a Magistrate for four
years. He then practiced as an attorney
specializing in matters of workers'
compensation defense, representing a variety of
employers and insurance companies. Mr. Faulkner has
given numerous lectures on workers'
compensation matters to business groups.

Mr.
Faulkner is a member of the Workers'
Compensation Section of the State Bar of Michigan and
the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association.
