Education
Mr. Ducey received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, attended law school
at the University of Detroit and was admitted to the bar
in 1961.
Professional Experience
With his many years of experience, Mr. Ducey has provided
representation for both self-insured employers and
insurance defense. His expertise in the field of
workers'
compensation defense is well known and he has lectured
before many groups including the Workers'
Compensation Section of the State Bar of Michigan and
the Michigan Self-Insureds' Association. He has
also conducted numerous seminars and workshops for
employers and insurance companies regarding up to date
legislation information and decisions as they affect
workers'
compensation matters. In 1993, he co-authored the
Michigan Section of Independent Contractor Status: State
by State Legal Guide, published by John Wiley &
Sons, Inc., with a Conklin Benham colleague.
Affiliations
Mr. Ducey is a member of the American Bar Association and
the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association.
