Professional Experience
Prior to joining Conklin Benham in 1980, Mr. Chapman worked
as a general practitioner with a focus in the area of
criminal and probate law. Upon joining Conklin Benham,
his focus became exclusively workers’ compensation
defense. Mr. Chapman handles cases for a variety of
self-insured employers, insurance companies and third
party administrators. Mr. Chapman has conducted
educational seminars and spoken to numerous employers
and insurance groups on various aspects of workers’
compensation law in Michigan. He has been given the
highest rating of AV (very high to preeminent) by
Martindale-Hubbell.
Affiliations
Mr. Chapman is a member of the State Bar of Michigan as well
as the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State
Bar. He is also a member of the Michigan
Self-Insured Association.
