Education
Mr. Berge received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Alma
College, graduating in 1982. He received his Juris
Doctor Degree from Valparaiso University in 1986. He

Professional Experience
After receiving his Juris Doctor Degree, Mr. Berge began
employment with Conklin Benham. Although his initial
focus was in the workers= compensation appeals arena, he has served his clients at
both the trial and appeal levels over the years. In
1993, he and a Conklin Benham colleague wrote the
Michigan Section of Independent Contractor Status: State
by State Legal Guide, published by John Wiley &
Sons, Inc. He has been given the highest rating of AV
(very high to preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Berge has led seminars for various employers and
insurance carriers on various topics of workers'
compensation law in Michigan.
Affiliations
Mr. Berge is a member of the Workers'
Compensation Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
