Education
Ms. Mitcham
graduated from Wayne State University in 1977 with a
Bachelor of Philosophy with distinction. She graduated
from The University of Michigan Law School in 1981.
Professional Experience
Prior to
joining the firm, Ms. Mitcham was a senior trial
attorney and managing attorney for the largest
litigation office of a national insurance company, where
she handled and supervised complex litigation. She was
previously a partner in a highly regarded litigation
firm.
Ms.
Mitcham's
areas of practice include personal injury, premises
liability, automobile negligence, products liability,
wrongful discharge, medical malpractice, commercial
litigation, construction defect, and police misconduct.
Affiliations
Ms. Mitcham
is well known throughout the legal community and is a
member of the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Defense
Trial Counsel, American Bar Association, Defense
Research Institute and the Oakland County Bar
Association. She has served on the Committee to Improve
Defense Counsel-Insurer Relations of the State Bar of
Michigan and as Chairperson of the Oakland County Bar
Association In House Committee. She has been a frequent
lecturer to large and small groups including the Annual
ICLE Michigan No-Fault Seminar.
